The Queen Victoria building was built in 1893  a marketplace that continues today it has many unique vendors spread across five floors. The architecture itself makes this place worth visit. The decorative and fancy staircases, motion clocks, the stained glass windows, and circular dome ceiling windows are all so beautiful that even if you are not a shopaholic, it makes the perfect place to take pictures of.

Queen Victoria Building has 6 levels of shopping, 2 of which are below ground level and 4 goes above ground. The building is also adjacent to the Town Hall Station which can be accessed on the lower ground level. The other shopping malls area including The Galeries and Westfield are accessible through the underground walkway.

The stores located here consist of high-end boutiques and international sellers as well as plenty of cafes and restaurants. The cafes are worth spending time as many of them are located in between the shopping walkways. It is the best way to grab a bite or a coffee and enjoy the great building architecture and atmosphere.

The interiors of the building are magnificent to look at. Even if you can't afford anything from this glamorous brands, this is a nice place to window shop and walk around. I would highly recommend going up to the top level so you can get a closer look at the giant clocks on the top floor.

I tried Haigh's homemade chocolate, I have never had such in my whole life. Everything here is a bit pricey but worth the treat every once in a while, after all, it’s as grand as they say. There were some amazing jewelry shops. The cloth brands were so luxurious that looking at the dresses, you will surely get stunned.

There was one art gallery which was named “The Art of Dr. Seuss”. It was an interesting gallery sampling of the doctor Seuss's work. They have smartly provided money exchange counters on almost every floor to make it easy for your to spend.

Your visit can be covered up in 4-5 hours including little time for the snack.

This shopping center is located in a late 19th-century Romanesque revival building that is palatial and reminiscent of state capitol buildings that you find in the US which have a big dome in the middle as QVB does.

Whether or not you come here to shop, I think QVB is worth a visit. It is a beautiful landmark building in Sydney CBD that is unlike any of the other malls in the vicinity.

You can get some shopping done or find a place to grab some tea or coffee, or even find a place to eat.
