I read a lot about traveling alone and I never found that fascinating, how weird it would be walking the streets alone, having food alone just visit the place and do all adventures alone.

Why one should travel alone at least once in life!

On the very first go it seems weird as we are used to with the people around, also it is so obvious that we will be willing will to spend time with our closest friends with whom we spend most of our beautiful time of life. It is also a common phenomenon, we can enjoy the most with nice companions no matter how the place is. But since last few years, my trips were getting canceled due to my companions last moment emergencies. And it pushed me to the idea of traveling alone.

There's nobody to take care of but herself

We are so much occupied with the responsibilities! If you are single then pretty less but if married or have children then it's too much more.

I am the oldest of three children, was a wife by the time I was twenty, and I am the mom of two beautiful children. The day I stepped out alone for a trip, was the first time in years that I didn't have anyone else to take care of but myself. Even with the male individuals, when you are alone you just have to think about your own self.

Do what you want, whenever you want, as long as you want!

Being alone means you get to nap as long as you want, get dressed as quickly as you like, eat when and where you want. Without considering anyone else's agenda I was just considering my own self for every small thing, I started feeling so important for my own self all of a sudden. I was also taking care of every moment I spend, the way I want! For each moment of the trip,  was taking my own choices and opinions, which never been the case with me previously. When we have 10- 20 people with us on the trip we consider everyone's convenience, opinion and in that case we many times compromise on our own plans.

You'll have time to ponder

One of the greatest joys of traveling alone was the time it gave me to ponder.

At work, I am on the phone or in meetings all day long. At home, I've got children who need me. Time to ponder is a rarity. But when you travel to a foreign country alone, you get to spend as much time thinking as you'd like.I sat in empty places and wrote in my book. I sat in museums and studied tourists as closely as I studied the master's works of arts.

I got to spend hours thinking about my life. My husband, my marriage, My career. My children. The complicated things where I was stuck since years, all of a sudden I started getting solutions on its own. They started to seem extremely small in front of the life, the moments I was having.

You'll stand in power!

When you are in your comfort zone, at work or at home you are fearless! But when you travel alone you have to take care of so many important things like your safety, your priorities, not getting lost in the unknown place. Traveling alone taught me to be the one in power and take control of my own self.

All in all, traveling alone is the most self-empowering thing I've ever done. I took many precautions and then spread my wings and flew out into the world, nobody holding me up or weighing me down.

If you've never thought of taking the trip alone, I encourage you to do it.

Traveling is the important part of everyone's life! But there are few people who have thought of traveling alone.

Go alone! You won't regret it.
