Worlds Coolest Airport Employee - Michigan USA
Birds and other wildlife are scandalous for causing problems at airports, often known to fly over runways and strike aircraft. But Michigan airport authorities have solved this critical problem in a smart way by hiring a dog to do this job.

A border collie named Piper who patrols runways in a ski
mask and boots. Brian Edwards, his trainer adopted the dog in 2012.
In late 2014, Traverse City's Cherry Capital Airport brought
Piper aboard as its new K-9 unit. He got training and then he was appointed as
the employee in January 2015.
His duty is to chase away the birds that sometimes
congregate at the airport. Since then piper has been a rocking sensation on
social media. He wears mirrored goggles to protect his eyes, which adds to his
coolness factor.
