My short trip to australia
Whether you’ve dreamed of petting a kangaroo, hiking our famous national parks and rainforests, or diving into an underwater paradise, it is going to come true with Pkt tours the USA. I have traveled many places but Australia is worth sharing! Tour went very smooth and the way it was organized, every small detail was taken care of.

Australia being 6th biggest country, and covered up with more than 30 beaches, we decided not to be “see it all” types as we had limited vacation. Mr. Tanmay also recommended focusing on one region and enjoy it all!
So here I go with my amazing experience!
1. 1st and 2nd day:
We took these two days to reach this modern, vibrant, and diverse place and get ourselves to prepare for a great vacation.
2. The 3rd day
As we decided to focus on the east coast, we landed Sydney (Kingsford Smith)
Airport. We were all tired after a long flight. Australia is little isolated, too long flights are also one of the reasons to make it “visit once in lifetime place”.
We reached the hotel and relaxed for the rest of the day.

3. 4th and 5th day!
We covered Blue mountains, wildlife park, Katoomba Falls,
Sydney Opera House, iconic harbor, world-renowned beaches and many more places.
We got to see many native Australian animals and birds. Australia has pretty
good wildlife sanctuaries, we saw many wildlife photographers well equipped
taking all tiny detail about the wildlife. The bird watchers were also fun to
spend time with, I never observed these many noises around me before meeting
them.
The brief of our two days goes like this, Climb the Sydney
Harbor bridge, the party in King’s Cross, surf in Bondi Beach, sail across the
harbor bridge, visit the famous Opera House, visit wildlife parks, BBQ at the
beaches.
4. 6th, 7th and 8th day: <The amazing ones>
We took a flight from Sydney to Cairns. Some people
suggested going by road for adding the “adventure” but we rather preferred
taking a flight to make it quick and make maximum use of time.
Hotel was little far from the airport. We were told to relax
and enjoy the new place. I have traveled many places but I found Australia
little expensive than the other places. The food, transport, adventures
everything. It’s advisable to pre-book for the places like Australia, so the
budget too can be tracked. The tour agent can also help and guide to better and
less expensive places.
The next day after a nice continental breakfast we started
for very popular historic rail journey. We stopped at Kuranda a principal town
of the Atherton Tablelands. It had a rich farmland area and situated at some
2000 feet above sea level. There is Atherton Tableland, Esplanade, Kuranda
Scenic Railway, Skyrail many other places for snorkeling, some beautiful
beaches. We could not manage the beach but all the others are must visit from
my experience. We took Kuranda Skyrail Station the last place and caught scenic
Skyrail Gondola for the journey back to the coast. The journey back to the
coast too was incredible, we were literally passing through and over the
heights of the rainforest.

The next day in Cairns was for Great Barrier Reef. The Great
Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral reef and home to an amazing diversity
of animal life. A closer encounter with the Great Barrier Reef’s impressive
coral gardens reveals many astounding underwater attractions including the
world’s largest collection of corals. We were amazed! The place gave us a lot
more than what we heard and expected. Visit
without visiting the world’s heritage sight “The great barrier reef” is
kind of no use.
We went back with the great experience to the hotel for the
stay.

5. 9th and 10th day - Final Days!
We flew from Cairns to Melbourne and took rest for the day. We were about to finish our trip here. But the experiences were adding real life to us. We could still feel the refreshment in us.
We checked in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Melbourne is a relaxed kind of a city. There more cafes and restaurants and more like a city life. Melbourne is the food capital of Australia, so the whole experience was different from Sydney and Cairns in our Australia tour. This city has nightlife, cafes, pubs and most importantly amazing food.
We visited Philip Island and experienced the most popular “little Penguins Parade”. After this visit, we went back to the Melbourne hotel.
The last day after breakfast we went airport and boarded for the flight to the states!
It was a short trip, We visited the east coast of Australia. But indeed was a mesmerizing experience. I am glad and thankful to Tanmay and Team PKT tours the USA for making the tour luxurious and very smooth.
