Kenya is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful countries we’ve visited. It has diverse landscapes, incredible wildlife, and good people. However, planning the perfect trip to Kenya can be a tough task.

1. Vaccinations
It’s very important to take some vaccinations before visiting Kenya. Most doctors recommend vaccinating against Polio, Tetanus, Hepatitis and Yellow Fever. Anti-malarial prophylactics are strongly recommended.
2. Don’t eat on the street
Kenya is not a good place to try local cuisine, especially on the street. Meat is just not recommended at any random place. Go to a good restaurant and feed yourself.
3. Malaria Pills
There are a lot of mosquitoes. Kenya is known to be the place for Malaria. The most important thing is, don't forget your malaria pills.
4. Consider safety
There is a good level of crime in Kenya, it is best to take extra precaution for your safety. The locals are very poor here, so they can even take your life for the small amount. Don’t get into any such trouble.
5. It's Cold in Mt Kilimanjaro

6. Learn Lingo

7. Take full cloths
Kenya has the problem of insects, apart from that the country is not developed, fashion and style can lead you to some safety issue here. It is best to wear simple and comfortable clothes.
8. Prefer money belt
As mentioned earlier, it is not very safe. It is the best idea to keep your valuables hidden under your t-shirt. Consider taking a money belt.

- Make a copy of your passport and keep it in your luggage.
- Don't walk on your own at night in the major cities or on empty beaches.
- Don't carry too much cash with you.
- Wear a money belt that fits under your clothes.
- Don't carry a lot of camera equipment
- Beware of police officers, they can be thieves in disguise.
