3 Days in Krabi
We took a flight from bangkok, It is 1 hour something flight. We did not have a plan for Krabi, had 3 blank days to fill with as much fun as we could.

Krabi for 3 days : December 16-18, 2016
Day 1 :
The cheapest way to get from Krabi Airport to
Krabi town or Ao Nang is the airport bus (a white bus with blue letters on the outside). There are two good options the Krabi airport bus or the taxi. The taxi is 500 baht the airport bus is 150 baht. Ao Nang is the largest city (and beach) in the Krabi province. We chose taxi, as were tired and wanted to get down near the hotel.
Hotel was good, not a luxurious stay but with good amenities and pocket friendly. Check in was smooth and the staff was welcoming. We three decided to take rest for sometime and then go out.
The beach was 20 minute walk from hotel. The climate was ok, little humid and hot. The street leading to the beach was peppered with massage parlors, Thai restaurants offering "real Thai food", and many 7-11s. Near my hotel, farther away from the beach, there were more authentic outdoor dining spots.
The main walking street runs parallel to the beach but I only walked it a short while. It's like every Thai walking street overflowing with tourist shops and travel agencies.
We took walk, explored the markets, enjoyed food and had relaxing massage at the massage parlour. I observed one thing, it's different kind of air in Thailand. It instantly give party type refreshing feel. Even though we were tired and little irritated with humidity and heat, we were kinda enjoying the whole pulse out there.
Day 2 :
The other day, it was not a resting day. Waking up early was a challenge but we made it out before 7 to catch the first longboat of the day out of Ao Nang beach. Absolutely amazing experience it was. Then we had to get off at Railay Beach, which attracts a lot of climbers from all over the world. We took a beginner climbing trip. It always seemed exciting to me to climb from the mountain but the first try gave me answer, how tiring, challenging and exhausting it was. Experience was worth indeed. All-in-all it was a great place. We also visited Koh Poda, most popular islands in Krabi the same day. It is covered with palm and pine trees and almost entirely encircled by a soft white sand beach, as we were tired after climbing, we got relaxing time at the beach.
Day 3 :
It was the last day but we were not really satisfied with the places we visited. As it was too much left on the list. We took a speedboat from the town to visit
Phi Phi islands. It is said to be the loveliest island in Southeast Asia. The sparkling blue water is world famous amongst scuba divers. Then we visited Ao Luk mangrove. It was not near so we had option to skip this place and visit a nearby option but we decided to visit Ao luk as it is popular for exploration and soft adventures. Even the journey too was an amazing experience with outstandingly preserved natural environment.
Thailand had been full of 2-week resort vacation-goers and expats who had moved here for a cheaper way to maintain their drinking and responsibility-avoiding lifestyles. It was nice to meet another experienced travelers. We had to leave krabi in three days but there were a lot many places which we left nearby. For the Asian newbie Thailand is a safe place with beautiful weather, a lot of tourists attractions, nice people, and yummy new food. So if you are planning Thailand tour any time soon, don't miss on Krabi!
